Project at a glance
Customer: Pete D Pickleball Coaching, represented by Peter Della-Luna
Location: Florida, United States
Scope: One complimentary custom-logo paddle sample for evaluation
Design input: Customer-supplied company logo and an emailed artwork proof
Confirmed outcome: Sample received; positive feedback and interest in a possible event prize or giveaway.
The brief: evaluate a paddle before discussing a larger program
Gloperti contacted Pete D Pickleball Coaching with a proposal for a branded paddle sample. The initial discussion covered possible uses in coaching and events. Peter agreed to look at a sample, with any further discussion depending on whether the quality met his standards.
That condition shaped the project: the immediate task was to prepare one sample that the customer could inspect. The correspondence does not document a bulk purchase commitment.
1. Collect the customer’s logo and prepare a proof
Mike asked whether Peter wanted his logo printed on the sample and offered to prepare a visual mockup. Peter supplied the Pete D Pickleball Coaching company logo. The team then sent an artwork proof for confirmation before moving ahead.

The proof attachment shown in the correspondence identifies a fiberglass pickleball paddle, quantity one, with a black grip and black PVC strap. The email screenshot shows a proof preview rather than a complete technical specification sheet. We do not infer unrecorded dimensions, weight, core thickness or performance ratings from it.
2. Confirm the artwork before sample production
After sending the proof, Mike followed up specifically to ask whether it was acceptable and explained that sample preparation would proceed after confirmation. Peter replied: “Yes, everything looks good.”
In this exchange, the approval refers to the artwork proof. It came before the customer received the paddle and should be read separately from the later sample feedback. This distinction keeps the design decision and the product evaluation clear.
3. Dispatch the sample and follow up
The team subsequently notified Peter that one sample had been sent by SF Express. The dispatch email included a tracking reference and four attached sample-photo previews showing the printed paddle from different angles. It gave an estimated delivery window of 8–12 days; the screenshots do not establish the actual transit time.
Peter acknowledged the shipping update. Mike later followed up to ask whether the sample had arrived and whether Peter had any feedback. Delivery address, telephone number and tracking details are omitted from this public account.
4. Record the customer’s response
On September 9, 2026, Peter confirmed receipt and wrote:
“Received thank you. The sample is very nice. I will certainly keep it in mind as a potential prize/giveaway for my next event.”

What the project demonstrates
This project documents a practical sample workflow: obtain the customer’s branding, send a proof, request approval, dispatch the sample and follow up for first-hand feedback. It gives prospective buyers a concrete example of the communication involved in evaluating a custom paddle.
Project status at publication: The sample was received and described positively. The customer expressed interest in a possible future event use. The supplied records do not confirm a bulk order, an event giveaway, sales results or an independent performance test.
Sample disclosure: Gloperti offered the sample on a complimentary basis. The quoted response is feedback on that sample, rather than a review of a paid bulk order. This case study was prepared from the supplied email screenshots, not from an independent product test.
